At Purac Soul Tarot Academy, we believe that being a skilled Tarot reader isn’t just about knowing the cards - it’s also about staying aware of the world around us. Many of the struggles people bring to a reading - money worries, job loss, relationship pressure - are often tied to bigger forces like the economy, political shifts, or global events.
That’s why we encourage our students and alumni to stay informed. What happens out there affects how people feel, how governments respond, and how our communities shift. As readers, the more we understand the world, the better we can offer grounded, compassionate guidance - especially when logic alone can’t explain what someone’s going through.

The Analysis
Right now, the war between Israel and Iran is one of the most dangerous flashpoints in the world. There are several major triggers that could turn this into a much bigger regional - or even global - conflict. For example, if Israel bombs major targets in Iran like Tehran or key nuclear facilities, or if the U.S. military gets directly involved by sending carrier groups or launching airstrikes, things could escalate fast. The same goes if Arab states like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or Jordan help Israel militarily - whether by opening their airspace, helping intercept missiles, or refuelling jets.
If Iran’s main proxy groups like Hezbollah, the Houthis, or Iraqi militias are wiped out, Iran may feel it has no buffer left and retaliate more aggressively. Another major red flag would be Russia or China stepping in with weapons or intelligence support to Iran, or if Iran fully rejects peace talks and chooses to keep launching missile attacks.
But the biggest flashpoint of all? If Iran closes or even threatens to close the Strait of Hormuz - the narrow sea passage where 20 - 30% of the world’s oil flows through - that would almost guarantee U.S. or Western military action. It would send oil prices skyrocketing and risk full-blown naval warfare.
Now, we are wondering about Pakistan’s role - especially after an Iranian general recently claimed that Pakistan promised to use nuclear weapons against Israel if Israel nukes Iran. The reality is much more cautious. Pakistan did recently close its borders with Iran, but not because it’s turning against Iran. It was a safety move to prevent any spillover from the war, especially in Balochistan, a sensitive area that borders Iran. Pakistan also evacuated its citizens from the region and temporarily stopped pedestrian and fuel traffic across the border. But it kept trade routes open, which shows it's not cutting ties - just trying to avoid getting pulled into someone else’s war.
Pakistan has verbally condemned Israel’s strikes and shown support for Iran’s right to defend itself, but there’s been no sign of actual military involvement or weapons support. That’s because Pakistan is walking a tightrope. On one hand, it has cultural and religious ties to Iran - especially through its Shiite population. On the other, it has deep economic and military relationships with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, who are openly against Iran. Pakistan needs to stay on good terms with both sides, so it’s choosing to stay neutral for now.
As for the nuclear threat - it’s extremely unlikely. Pakistan’s nuclear weapons exist as a deterrent against India, not for the Middle East. There's no formal alliance between Pakistan and Iran, no treaty, and no official statement confirming that claim. If Pakistan were to use its nukes in Iran’s defence, it would face global sanctions, diplomatic isolation, and probably U.S. retaliation. It would also risk cutting ties with the very Gulf states that provide it with financial support. So that claim from the Iranian general is likely political theatre - meant to scare or deter Israel - not a real military promise.
In short, Pakistan is being careful. It’s not choosing sides, but it’s also not about to risk war with Israel, the U.S., or the Gulf. Its moves so far have been about protecting its own people and territory - not entering the fight. Which is good news, a safe strike off the critical flashpoint list.
What we need to take note of is that Iran closing or threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz will be the most serious trigger and likely to provoke immediate global military action and an oil-price crisis.
As of now, there’s no clear sign that World War 3 is about to happen. So do not panic.
What’s more likely - and worth paying closer attention to - is the growing risk of civil unrest due to job losses caused by AI and automation.
The world isn’t ending, but it is shifting in the most dynamic way possible. And these shifts can affect people deeply - emotionally, financially, and physically. As Tarot readers, we hold space for these moments, helping others make sense of the shift with clarity and compassion.
We use Tarot pairing for each of the critical escalation triggers, written in a way that helps you use the cards symbolically and clearly - whether in strategic forecasting, political insight, or spiritual reflection on global affairs. Here is the summary of the trigger flashpoint through the lens of Tarot Cards.
Flash Point 1: Israel strikes major symbolic Iranian targets
Tower clarified by Emperor
- Tower = Shock attack, destruction of major structures or symbols of power.
- Emperor = Authority, control, national pride, leadership - think Supreme Leader’s compound or IRGC headquarters.
Interpretation:
A powerful regime (Emperor) gets struck (lightning strike in the Tower card) at the heart. The Tower collapses - not just buildings, but what they represent. It’s a blow meant to humiliate and destabilize the very foundation of control.
Flash Point 2: U.S. military directly involved
Chariot clarified by Judgement
- Chariot = Military action, forward movement, tanks, aircraft carriers, precision.
- Judgement = A turning point, global reckoning - this is a line being crossed.
Interpretation:
When the U.S. enters, it’s no longer just regional. The Chariot surges forward, and Judgement rings out - this becomes a world-level decision point. There’s no turning back.
Flash Point 3: Arab states (UAE, Saudi, Jordan) support Israel militarily
Two of Wands clarified by Six of Pentacles
- Two of Wands = Strategy, partnerships, global alignment.
- Six of Pentacles = Selectively tactical support - airspace, refuelling, intercepts, but done selectively.
Interpretation:
This will not be loud. It’s quiet moves, calculated support. One hand gives (Six of Pentacles), the other plans the long game (Two of Wands). These states back Israel - not with noise, but with power collaborative moves behind the curtain.
Flash Point 4: Iran’s proxies are fully neutralized
Death clarified by Eight of Swords
- Death = Complete ending, total removal - Hezbollah or Houthis wiped out.
- Eight of Swords = Trapped, powerless, no options left.
Interpretation:
Iran’s frontline tools are dead (Death), and its hands are tied (Eight of Swords). No retaliation. No message. Just silence and loss.
Flash Point 5: Russia or China deliver arms/intelligence to Iran
Magician clarified by Seven of Swords
- Magician = Advanced tools such as technology, and influence - satellite intel, drone systems, etc.
- Seven of Swords = Hidden agendas, covert operations, quiet arming.
Interpretation:
Power flows through the shadows. Iran receives tools and tricks (Magician), but nothing’s officially announced. It’s a secret handoff - just enough to shift the board, without stepping into the light.
Flash Point 6: Iran rejects peace and vows full retaliation
Knight of Wands clarified by Five of Wands
- Knight of Wands = Hot-headed, impulsive, driven by pride and anger. Charges forward without thinking of the consequences. No diplomacy.
- Five of Wands = Chaos, multiple clashes, tension across the board.
Interpretation:
Iran charges into escalation ( a fast-moving Fire Knight), and drags everyone into messy, uncoordinated conflict (Five of Wands). This will produce chaos, high tension, and boiling over.
Flash Point 7: Iran threatens or closes the Strait of Hormuz
The Moon clarified by Two of Swords
- The Moon = Ocean, tides, hidden threats, psychological tension.
- Two of Swords = Deliberate blockage, standoff, strategic no-move.
Interpretation:
The seas turn murky. Under the surface, something dangerous brews (Moon). Then - silence. The crossing is blocked (Two of Swords). Oil freezes. Tensions peak. Everyone watches, no one breathes. Moon causes confusion, paranoia and uncertainties in the global economy.
